This is an in game screenshot taken from 3DRealms. This picture is taken from a high quality 16-bit rendered scene. DNF will also have native support for a 24-bit Z-buffer(TNT-2,RAGE 128). From a game that changed from 2 engines, we all are asking the same question, "WHEN THE HELL IS THIS GAME GOING TO COME OUT". A lot of people have been dissapointed due to the dates of production being pushed further and further. I don't think this game will ever come out, some people just can't wait anymore. We'll see what 3DRealms will do about this.

Here is another screen shot from DNF. I don't know about you but I was expecting more than this. Seems to me that the time 3DRealms is taking to make this game good is waisted time. There is only so much you can do to a game. And then it's time for production. The sooner this will come out, the less it will be criticized.

Quake 3. It only seems like yesterday Quake 2 waa released. I loved Quake 2, I still play it as a matter of fact. Quake 3 Arena is one of the most anticipated games of the year. Personally, this game isn't what people are expecting it too be. For sure, this game has great visuals, but at the cost of speed. It is going to be a huge CPU hog. I'm not talking out of my ass about this stuff. Head on over to this site and see what a former ID Software game programmer has to say about the game.
